Kissing the Bee by Kathe Koja
This slender book tells such a basic story: teenaged love triangle. But Koja tells it so simply and so beautifully. A lovely little surprise of a book, and a definite YAY from me.
great little book. lovely read. fun apiary facts and bee characteristics that weave into the story. the tension is palpable, and resolved in a believable manner. a good choice for the top 20. YAY
Okay, it is a short novel which is sure to appeal to teens. Thought it moved very fast which is also a really good thing. But for me, based on all the other really really great books I've read, I don't think this is a top 20 so I have to say Nay. Sorry.

I happily concur. Dana and Avra's relationship was very true & Dana and Emil's feelings were quite intense. Yay.
